First introduced in 1872, La Tulipe has medium pink blooms that some years exhibit fuschia pink/red streaking similar to some types of tulips.
La Tulipe’s blooms are fragrant, high-built, loosely petaled doubles.
The plant grows tall so blooms will benefit from support in the landscape.
Very attractive heirloom particularly well suited for cottage or cutting gardens. There’s a reason La Tulipe remains popular - even after almost 150 years!!
