Salisbury Farmstead Varieties

9.95

When we purchased our farm, we inherited a row of old peonies that had likely been there since the 1950s and probably much longer. Over time, they had grown into a thick hedge.

Because they were so dense, we had to dig, separate and re-plant them. Over the years we have monitored them but have not identified potential varieties.

From what we can tell, there are 2 similar but different varieties. Both have double, deep pink, fragrant, medium sized.blooms.

However, some plants have a touch of light pink in the blooms., while others are more monochromatic.

We have not tagged the plants based on their subtle differences so we can’t guarantee which variation you’ll receive.

Like many heirloom varieties, the stems are weak and the flowers will require support. Plant Salsibury Farmstead along a fence and they will transform your landscape
