Manitowoc Maiden

$104.00

If I were forced to choose only 1 peony to grow, it would be Manitowoc Maiden.

The plant is among the most vigorous in our fields, quickly increasing in size. It produces incredibly large, fragrant, warm pink blooms and loads of them.

Manitowoc Maiden is registered as a double but you can expect younger divisions to initially produce a number of (very full) semi-double blooms as well. Both forms aare stunning.

The stems are strong and some say it does not require support. However, we find support is needed given the extremely large flower size. The large blooms make unparalleled early season cut flowers.

Fertile both ways!
